Job Highlight:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer with proven expertise in machinery and equipment maintenance within chemical or petrochemical manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong capabilities in developing and executing preventive maintenance (PM) plans and schedules efficiently, contributing effectively to our maintenance team.

Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the manager to prepare and control the annual maintenance budget, ensuring spending aligns with approved allocations, and provide monthly and yearly summary reports and analyses.
Supervise and monitor mechanical maintenance operations to ensure compliance with work procedures and safety standards, while evaluating performance and providing constructive feedback to the team.
Manage improvement projects and machinery installation plans in accordance with engineering standards, including procurement, manpower planning, and completion within the approved schedule.
Work with the manager to analyze root causes of mechanical system failures, develop corrective and preventive measures, and explore new technologies to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
Investigate and report mechanical abnormalities, incidents, or accidents to the manager promptly.
Coordinate and participate in meetings with internal and external departments to enhance production performance and reliability.
Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans, including emergency repairs, shutdowns, grade switching, and turnaround activities, along with maintaining maintenance history records and equipment documentation.
Provide technical support and recommendations to resolve issues within the mechanical maintenance division.
Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.70
Exhibit a TOEIC score of 550 or higher.
1 – 3 years of experience in machinery and equipment maintenance, including preventive maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in chemical or petrochemical plants.

Critical Knowledge & Skills:

Proficient in computer applications. (e.g., MS Office, maintenance management systems)
Good command of English. (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
Solid understanding of machinery operation, particularly in petrochemical or industrial manufacturing environments.
Good knowledge of plant maintenance systems and practices.
