Job Purpose
The Facility Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of assigned properties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, effective maintenance of building systems, and delivery of high-quality services to clients, residents, and stakeholders.
Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities
1. Property & Facility Operations
- Oversee daily operations of the property to ensure efficient and uninterrupted services
- Manage building systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and common area facilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards
2. Maintenance & Technical Oversight
- Plan and control preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and external contractors
- Review maintenance reports and service quality
3. Vendor & Contractor Management
- Supervise contractors and service providers
- Review quotations, scopes of work, and maintenance costs
- Conduct site inspections and acceptance of completed works
4. Budget & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage operating and maintenance budgets
- Monitor expenses and control costs
- Review invoices related to facility operations
5. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as main contact point for clients, juristic persons, committees, or project owners
- Prepare operational reports and presentations
- Handle complaints and resolve operational issues professionally
6. Safety, Risk & Compliance
- Implement safety policies and emergency response plans
- Conduct safety inspections and audits
- Ensure compliance with company and client requirements
7. Team Management & Leadership
- Supervise on-site staff including technicians and service teams
- Coordinate staff scheduling and performance monitoring
- Support HR in recruitment, training, and evaluation
