Responsibilities
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and potential target markets for IoT products.
  • Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape in the IoT sector.
  • Business Strategy Development: Collaborate with the executive team to define business objectives, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies for IoT products. Identify key market segments, value propositions, and competitive advantages to drive business growth.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation, prospecting, and networking. Build a robust pipeline of potential clients and strategic partners for IoT product sales and collaborations.
  • Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to promote IoT products and generate revenue. Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials, presentations, and product demonstrations. Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to showcase IoT product offerings.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present customized proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements to clients. Conduct negotiations and close deals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, engineering, and customer support, to align customer requirements, drive product enhancements, and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Market Expansion: Identify opportunities for market expansion and geographic growth. Evaluate potential partnerships, distribution channels, and strategic alliances to penetrate new markets and increase market share.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities. Prepare regular reports and presentations on business development activities, revenue forecasts, and market insights.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles, preferably within the IoT industry or related technology sectors. Experience with IoT products, solutions, or platforms is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of IoT technologies, trends, and applications. Familiarity with IoT connectivity protocols, cloud platforms, and data analytics is advantageous.
  • Sales and Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated success in driving sales growth, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset to identify business opportunities, evaluate market trends, and develop innovative strategies. 
  • Proactive and driven to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving market conditions, technological advancements, and customer demands.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on IoT industry developments.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required for business meetings, industry events, and client visits.
