- Teach hands-on pastry and bakery courses: including recipe development, ingredient sourcing, preparation, baking demonstrations, and student practice sessions
- Monitor and evaluate student performance and learning outcomes
- Participate in academic activities such as research, academic writing, and curriculum development
- Contribute to the preservation and innovation of baking arts and engage in continuous professional development
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry & Bakery, or a related field
- Strong knowledge and practical skills in pastry and bakery techniques
- Experience working in professional pastry kitchens, bakeries, or hotels
- Understanding of kitchen and production operations and management
- Interest and potential in conducting research related to baking and pastry arts
- Prior teaching experience in pastry and bakery is a plus (especially bread)
