Senior Staff Process Development Engineer (Adhesive Development)

Responsible to develop Head Gimbal Assembly process to meet new product design requirement, build up intensive knowledge of the process and enable optimum process setting and control. Work with Design center and factory to deploy new process and knowledge to achieve quality, delivery and cost goal.

o Work with design engineer in USA to understand assembly process requirement for future products.

o Develop Head Gimbal Assembly technic, cleaning process and new technology.

o Research and develop Adhesive material, integrate into HGA process to qualify with maturity development per Technology Roadmap requirement (especially 5T, Femto, MSMR, and beyond).

o Study and determine transfer function of Head Gimbal Assembly CTQ’s (Critical to Quality) and HGA cleanliness.

o Using transfer function to determine optimum setting and controlling.

o Document process procedure and knowledge.

o Educate factory and design center on new process knowledge.

o Work with factory to implement new process and optimum control method.

o Experience in Hard Disk Drive manufacturing, adhesive material development and cleaning process/ Technology

o Fluent of English communication both spoken and written.

o Good statistics or Six sigma + Design For Six Sigma trained

o Excellent interpersonal, planning, organization and team skills, mentoring, training and presentation skills.

o Excellent in teamwork, leadership and coach ability.

o Analysis Knowledge skills, problem solving tools and decision making

o Project management skills
