Responsibilities

Job Summary

As a NCG (New College Graduate) Test Engineer at NXP Semiconductors, you will be instrumental in the development and validation of cutting-edge semiconductor products. You will gain hands-on experience in the design, implementation, and execution of test solutions for various NXP technologies, contributing to the quality and reliability of our next-generation devices.

Job Responsibilities

Design, develop, and debug test programs, test patterns, and test fixtures for semiconductor devices.
Perform functional and parametric testing of integrated circuits (ICs) at various stages of the product lifecycle (wafer sort, package test, final test).
Analyze test data, identify root causes of failures, and propose solutions for yield improvement and defect reduction.
Collaborate with design, product, and manufacturing engineering teams to ensure testability and manufacturability of new products.
Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports.
Participate in the evaluation and selection of new test equipment and methodologies.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the test engineering team.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations throughout the testing process.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering.
Strong understanding of digital and analog electronic circuits.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C++, Python, Verilog, VHDL).
Familiarity with semiconductor device physics and manufacturing processes is a plus.
Basic knowledge of ATE (Automated Test Equipment) platforms (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest) is desirable but not required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to contribute to high-quality product development.
