Responsibilities

Lead and improve SMT process performance including printing, placement, reflow, and AOI.
Analyze and resolve SMT process issues using root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools.
Optimize process parameters to improve yield, quality, and productivity.
Support NPI, trial runs, and mass production transfer.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, PE, Production, and Maintenance).
Define and maintain SMT process documentation, SOPs, and control plans.
Monitor key process KPIs (Defect rate, Yield, Cycle time) and drive corrective and preventive actions.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fields.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in SMT process engineering.
Strong knowledge of SMT equipment (Printer, Pick & Place, Reflow Oven, AOI).
Experience in defect analysis (solder defect, component misalignment, tombstone, bridging, etc.).
Familiar with Lean, Kaizen, and problem-solving tools.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
