Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their kitchen design needs, preferences, and lifestyle requirements.
- Create custom kitchen layouts using CAD software or other design tools such as 2020 Design, AutoCAD, or SketchUp.
- Recommend appropriate materials, finishes, appliances, and fixtures based on client budgets and style preferences.
- Prepare detailed design plans, presentations, mood boards, and 3D renderings.
- Collaborate closely with sales, procurement, and installation teams to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Revise designs based on client feedback and technical feasibility.
- Stay informed on the latest kitchen design trends, materials, and technologies, and learn new kitchen supplier software and design programs.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and manage client communications throughout the design process.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Designer or Interior Designer with a focus on kitchen spaces.
- Proficiency in design software such as 2020 Design, AutoCAD, or SketchUp.
- Strong understanding of space planning, ergonomics, and building codes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and project management abilities.
- Experience with high-end or luxury kitchen designs.
- A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is a plus.
