Cost Accounting Supervisor - Vejthani Hospital

1. Manage and maintain cost accounting processes and ensure data accuracy

2. Prepare cost analysis reports (e.g., cost per service, departmental cost)

3. Provide cost and pricing data to management to support decision-making

4. Oversee inventory accounting and ensure accuracy of stock records

5. Monitor inventory movements, aging, and obsolete items

6. Coordinate and supervise physical inventory counts with relevant teams

7. Perform reconciliation between ERP, HIS, inventory systems, and general ledger

8. Prepare monthly inventory reconciliation and ensure timely financial closing

9. Investigate and resolve discrepancies with proper documentation

10. Maintain and update item master data, including cost and pricing information

11. Ensure accuracy and consistency of system data across platforms

12. Coordinate with IT on system improvements and data integration

13. Act as key coordinator for internal and external audit processes

14. Prepare supporting documents and resolve audit findings within deadlines

15. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and tax requirements

16. Improve cost accounting processes and reduce manual work through automation

17. Implement tools such as ERP systems, AI tools, or Power Automate to enhance productivity

18. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Supervise and develop cost accounting staff

19. Coordinate with Procurement, Pharmacy, Warehouse, IT, and Finance teams

20. Support multi-entity operations within the hospital group

2. At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in cost accounting

3. Experience in healthcare or hospital business is an advantage

4. Experience in ERP systems and inventory accounting is preferred

5. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and general ledger

6. Ability to perform reconciliation across multiple systems (ERP, HIS, etc.)

7. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

8. Good understanding of tax and audit requirements

9. Leadership and team supervision ability

10. Advanced Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Table, Power Query, VLOOKUP, Dashboards)

11. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365)

12. Familiarity with hospital systems (HIS such as TrakCare) is a plus

13. Knowledge of automation tools (Power Automate, RPA, AI tools)

14. English communication skills (ability to communicate with international patients is a plus) Applicants with a TOEIC score above 605 are eligible for additional compensation in accordance with hospital policy

15. CPA or CMA is an advantage

16. High attention to detail and accuracy

17. Strong communication and coordination skills

18. Ability to work under pressure, especially during closing and audit periods

19. Proactive mindset with continuous learning attitude

20. Ability to present financial data clearly to management
