Responsibilities

🔹Job Responsibilities
1. Manage and oversee coordination with international insurance companies and medical assistance providers for Letter of Guarantee (LOG) approvals and treatment authorizations.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, embassies, and healthcare partners to ensure smooth service delivery.
3. Collaborate with International Marketing and Accounts Receivable teams to facilitate contract negotiations and efficient billing processes.
4. Ensure effective management of international insurance cases, including after-hours and emergency support.
5. Oversee medical coordination activities, including medical reports, cost estimates, medical certificates, fit-to-fly certificates, and treatment plans.
6. Coordinate with physicians, nurses, care coordinators, and external stakeholders to ensure timely responses to medical inquiries.
7. Ensure exceptional service standards for international patients, embassies, insurance companies, and referring organizations.
8. Lead the coordination of air medical transport, repatriation, and evacuation services (V-Flight Services).
9. Coordinate with airlines, aircraft providers, airports, embassies, and insurance companies to facilitate patient transfers.
10. Oversee MEDIF submissions, travel arrangements, and service quotations for patients and their families.
11. Ensure timely submission of billing information and medical documentation to embassies and third-party payors.
12. Oversee utilization review processes for inpatient embassy cases and monitor healthcare resource utilization.
13. Ensure compliance with contractual agreements, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
14. Manage visa extension services for international patients and their families.
15. Coordinate with immigration authorities and relevant agencies to ensure smooth visa processing.
16. Operational Leadership & Team Management
17. Lead, coach, and develop departmental staff to achieve operational excellence and professional growth.
18. Establish departmental goals, KPIs, and performance standards while monitoring results and driving continuous improvement.
19. Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively to ensure operational efficiency and cost optimization.
20. Foster collaboration across departments and promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence.

Qualifications

🔹 Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing  with Valid Registered Nurse License issued by the Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council.
2. Minimum 5 years of working experience in a hospital setting.
3. Proven experience in healthcare operations, international patient services, insurance coordination, embassy relations, or medical assistance services.
4. Previous managerial or supervisory experience is highly preferred.
5. Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
TOEIC score of 800 or above. Applicants with a TOEIC score above 500 are eligible for additional compensation in accordance with hospital policy.
6. Strong knowledge of healthcare services, medical terminology, and hospital operations.
7. Solid understanding of international insurance processes, embassy coordination, airline medical transportation procedures, and medical assistance services.
8. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and performance management skills.
9. Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
10. Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet applications, and Canva.
12. Experience in International Patient Services, Medical Assistance Companies, Embassy Services, or International Insurance Coordination.
13. Knowledge of medical evacuation, repatriation services, and international healthcare networks.
14. Experience working in an internationally accredited healthcare organization is an advantage.
15. Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
16. Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
17. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
