Position Overview

Mid-Senior Level Position

At Asia Silicones Monomer, you will work in a hands-on and challenging role at the center of

our manufacturing supply chain. Your work will help keep the plant running smoothly, control

costs, and ensure operations continue without disruption.

You will work closely with maintenance, engineering, logistics, and external partners to make

sure non-core materials, spare parts, and services are purchased and delivered on time in a

fast-paced factory environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with suppliers, and

coordinating with different teams. You will gain real experience in price negotiation, import

and customs processes, ERP systems, and ISO requirements. These experiences will help you

build strong skills and prepare you for future senior or leadership roles.

Supply Chain Management Specialist (Purchasing)

Asia Silicones Monomer Limited – Shin-Etsu Silicones Group

Key Responsibilities

• Support purchasing of non-core items such as lab, safety, office, and maintenance supplies and services

• Request and compare quotations, support bidding, approvals, and purchase order release

• Negotiate with suppliers on quality, price, and delivery

• Follow up purchase orders to ensure on-time and correct delivery

• Coordinate with internal teams to understand purchasing needs and specifications

• Maintain supplier data, purchasing records, and delivery information in ERP system (IFS)

• Support supplier sourcing and basic cost control activities

• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and government officers for import and customs clearance

• Support inventory visibility and basic purchasing reports

• Support ISO systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and internal audits

• Perform other supply chain–related tasks as assigned
