Responsibilities
-Providing technical guidance and support to the engineering team on civil/structural design and implementation
-Reviewing and evaluating engineering plans, drawings, and calculations to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
-Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to coordinate design and construction activities
-Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and address any issues that arise
-Assisting in the preparation of reports, proposals, and other project documentation
-Mentoring and training junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge
-Staying informed of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
Qualifications
-Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience
-Thorough understanding of civil/structural engineering principles, design codes, and construction methods
-Proficiency in using engineering software, such as CAD, BIM, and structural analysis tools
-Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
-Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
-Familiarity with project management practices and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
-Registration as a Professional Engineer or equivalent professional certification is preferred
