Responsibilities
- Design and develop Engine and Automatic Transmission Control Parts, including:
- Accelerator Pedal
- Automatic Transmission (AT) Shift Lever
- AT Control Cable
- Prepare 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings.
- Conduct design calculations, tolerance studies, and design validation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, testing, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Support design verification and product improvement activities.
- Analyze technical issues and propose effective engineering solutions.
- Ensure designs comply with quality, cost, reliability, safety, and related requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities throughout the product development process.
- Participate in company cross-functional activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in: Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or related engineering fields
- 0–5 years of experience in automotive design or product development.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Communicative Japanese ability will be advantage.
- Experience with CAD software
- Knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle control mechanisms.
- Experience in GD&T, DFMEA, tolerance analysis, or design validation.
- Experience working with car makers, automotive suppliers or OEMs is an advantage.
