HVAC Mechanic (HVAC Maintenance Worker) - US Embassy Bangkok

SALARY: Starting from TH฿ 445,502 per annum
WORK HOURS: 40 hours per week

BASIC FUNCTIONS REQUIRED: 

Working in the Facility Management section of the Embassy the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Maintenance Worker carries out maintenance and repair work to all mission buildings and facilities including residential owned and leased properties.  

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

(1) Education: Completion of secondary school is required and/or completion of vocational training from an accredited institute recognized as producing journeyman level technicians with specialization in the HVAC field is required. 
(2) Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the repair and maintenance of commercial or industrial HVAC systems is required.
(3) Language: (This may be tested.)
• Good working knowledge (Reading/Writing/Speaking) of Thai is required. 
• Limited knowledge (Reading/Writing/Speaking) of English is required. You can submit a copy of valid TOEIC score (Listening and Reading Section) of at least 400, or pass the English Placement Test (EPT) that is conducted by the Human Resources Office. 
(4) Skills:  (This may be tested.)
• Must have a valid, current local driver’s license for private car is required. Incumbent must be at least 25 years old and have been holding a driver's license for a minimum of five years is required.  Please submit a driver's license with your application.
• Ability to work as part of a team, work under pressure and a tight schedule. 
(5) Knowledge:  (This may be tested.)
• Maintenance and repair of HVAC controls including motor starters, thermostats, humidistats, and heat pumps, evaporators and condensers, chillers and boilers.
