Responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical Junior Compensation & Benefits (C&B) and Payroll Specialist to join our HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates who are eager to develop expertise in payroll, HR data management, and analytics. Strong English communication skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring high accuracy and timely delivery
- Maintain, validate, and update employee compensation and benefits data with strong attention to data accuracy and integrity
- Perform data checks, reconciliation, and audits to ensure error-free payroll records
- Assist in administering employee benefits (insurance, allowances, etc.)
- Prepare and analyze payroll reports, HR metrics, and dashboards
- Utilize Excel and other tools to perform data analysis and generate insights
- Identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement through data analysis
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local labor regulations
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors as required
- Respond to employee queries regarding payroll and benefits
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field
- 0-3 years of experience in the field, or fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong command of English (both written and spoken) is a must
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy, especially when handling sensitive data
- Strong analytical mindset with interest in data analysis and reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, PivotTables, data handling); knowledge of other tools (Power BI, HRIS, or similar) is a plus
- Basic understanding of payroll processes and labor law is an advantage
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
