Responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Application Support to ensure the stability, performance, and availability of the Company's business applications, with a primary focus on HR systems (Payroll, Time Attendance, LMS, Tax, Benefits, and Statutory Compliance). This role serves as the key liaison between business users, IT teams, and external vendors to resolve technical issues, support system improvements, and maintain secure, reliable application services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 (L2) application support and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Monitor application performance and ensure system availability.
- Analyze and resolve data and integration issues using SQL.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve incidents and implement system enhancements.
- Support application deployments, upgrades, and change management activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Ensure data integrity, system security, and compliance with Company policies.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend preventive solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to IT team members.
Qualifications
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Application Support, System Analysis, or Production Support.
- Strong SQL skills (queries, joins, stored procedures, and data analysis).
- Good understanding of application integration, APIs, Windows/Linux servers, and cloud environments.Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript or C# (.NET).
- Good command of English only, both written and spoken
- Able to work overtime on one Saturday every three weeks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting HR systems such as Payroll, Time Attendance, LMS, or ERP applications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, PowerShell, or Python.
- Experience with web servers such as IIS, Apache, or Nginx.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
