Responsibilities
- Develops, configures, implements and maintains high quality Infrastructure Engineering solution with security standards, policies, procedures to ensure the secured, performance and availability of Infrastructure.
- Collaborate with project teams and clients to gather requirements, assess infrastructure needs, design customized infrastructure solutions and support during all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to procure hardware, software, and services necessary for project implementation.
- Document infrastructure designs, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge transfer and facilitate ongoing support.
- Handle incident resolution, drill down to find out what caused it, and coordinate with other teams to resolve them and participate in on-call rotation and DR testing.
- Support the Solution Architect with the design of new services and implementation.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in networking to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in IT Infrastructure projects, with handling multiple projects concurrently with successful project delivery.
- Experience with server administration (Windows Server, Linux).
- Experience with storage administration (SAN, NAS)
- Experience with of Active Directory.
- Experience with virtualization technologies – design, implement, and manage virtual environments, including Datacenter cluster(s) managed by vCenter or Hyper-V
- Understanding of high availability, SRM, fault tolerance, and other BCP/DR technologies
- Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, architectures, and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, VPNs, and SD-WAN.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
