Responsibilities

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the compliance team and operations for the responsible functions to achieve team KPIs and operational SLAs.

  • Design and execute the annual risk-based compliance monitoring plan, control testing, thematic reviews, and follow through on findings to remediation.

  • Oversee and operate market conduct programmes in line with OIC requirements (e.g., Fair Treatment of Customers, sales quality monitoring, complaint-handling SLAs, and remediation).

  • Maintain and manage the regulatory control framework, including obligations register with control mapping, attestation cycles, and timely regulatory report filings.

  • Perform gap analysis for new and revised applicable laws/regulations; communicate updates and impact assessments to senior management and key stakeholders.

  • Provide expert compliance advice and consultation to business units/department heads, and develop training programmes to promote a strong compliance culture.

  • Prepare and present regular reports and KRI/KPI compliance dashboards to senior management, relevant committees, and regulators.

  • Handle ad-hoc compliance-related initiatives and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

About you

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

  • 5–7+ years of solid experience in Compliance, Compliance Monitoring/Testing, Market Conduct, Risk, or Audit, preferably within the Insurance or Financial Services sector.

  • In-depth knowledge of OIC regulations and Market Conduct regime, as well as familiarity with regulatory bodies such as AMLO, BOT, and SEC.

  • Proven people management and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to explain complex regulatory matters clearly and concisely.

  • Strong formal business writing and communication skills in both Thai and English.

  • Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); comfortable working with compliance data, metrics, and reporting dashboards.
