Responsibilities
This position is responsible for daily SCM operations of CJ Foods Thailand, including import coordination, shipment follow-up, warehouse coordination, inventory control, and customer delivery support.
The main purpose of this role is to make sure that import, stock, warehouse, and delivery operations are properly followed up every day, and that operational issues are closed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Import and Shipment Coordination
- Follow up shipment schedules with overseas suppliers, HQ, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
- Check import documents such as Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, CO, FDA-related documents, and other required documents before customs clearance.
- Monitor shipment status and update related teams when there is any delay or issue.
- Coordinate with customs broker and freight forwarder to solve import or clearance issues.
- Check product name consistency among PO, FDA registered name, and shipping documents to avoid clearance problems.
- Support SCM Section Manager in tracking import lead time and improving shipment visibility.
Logistics and Delivery Operation
- Coordinate delivery schedules with warehouse, 3PL, transporters, and internal teams.
- Follow up daily outbound delivery status for key customers such as 7-Eleven, Lotus’s, Makro, Big C, and other channels.
- Handle delivery issues such as delay, partial delivery, product return, customer refusal, wrong delivery, or damaged product.
- Support urgent delivery requests and align delivery priority with Sales and SCM team.
- Communicate with warehouse and transporters to make sure delivery issues are solved quickly.
Inventory Control
- Monitor daily stock status by SKU, including stock availability, expiry date, aging stock, and OOS risk.
- Check stock differences between ERP system or excel files and warehouse physical stock.
- Maintain reports for slow-moving stock, near-expiry stock, aging stock, and OOS risk.
- Support stock allocation, stock transfer, and replenishment planning to reduce both overstock and stock-out.
- Work with Sales, Finance, and SCM Manager to support stock clearance or inventory improvement actions.
Warehouse and 3PL Coordination
- Follow up inbound, outbound, return, and stock count activities with warehouse and 3PL.
- Monitor warehouse operation issues and service quality.
- Handle claims related to damage, loss, wrong picking, wrong delivery, or stock discrepancy.
- Support proper separation and tracking of Food/Fresh inventory, cost, and operation records when required.
- Escalate repeated warehouse or delivery issues to SCM Section Manager with clear facts and proposed actions.
Reporting and Data Management
- Update shipment tracking report, delivery status report, and inventory report.
- Prepare basic SCM reports such as OOS report, aging stock report, delivery delay report, and logistics issue report.
- Maintain SCM KPI data such as OTIF, delivery delay, stock aging, stock discrepancy, and logistics cost.
- Report weekly operation issues and pending items to SCM Section Manager.
- Support SCM process improvement by collecting accurate operational data.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in SCM, logistics, import/export, warehouse, inventory control, or related field.
- Experience in food, FMCG, retail, distribution, 3PL, or import business is preferred.
- Good understanding of import documents and customs clearance process.
- Able to communicate directly with warehouse, transporter, freight forwarder, customs broker, and internal teams.
- Good Excel skill and basic reporting skill.
- Able to communicate in English by email.
- Preferred statistics or econometric-related skills
- Experience in food import and Thai FDA-related process.
- Experience in Modern Trade delivery operation.
- Experience with frozen, chilled, or shelf-life sensitive products.
- Experience with ERP, SAP, WMS, or similar systems.
- Experience managing OTIF, OOS, inventory aging, or logistics cost data.
- Strong follow-up and detail-oriented working style.
- Hands-on problem solver who can close issues until the end.
- Comfortable working with warehouse, transporters, forwarders, and external vendors.
- Able to work under urgent situations and changing priorities.
- Practical and execution-oriented, not only reporting-oriented.
