Responsibilities
- Implement agronomy strategies and plan to enhance crop production, including implementing sustainable farming practices.
- Lead and manage crop production to ensure crop quality, quantity and cost with in time frames.
- Manage and ensure timely execution of planting, harvesting and seed dispatch in aligning with production plan.
- Collaborate with QA team to maintain quality standard and conduct relevant quality assessment activities.
- Conduct and lead agronomic research initiatives to identify innovative practices to improve crop quality, yields and productivity.
- Strengthen strong relationships with local famers and engage new farmers.
- Provide weekly/monthly report on agronomic activities, research findings and performance updates.
- Liaise and coordinate with government, association industry and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Lead and develop agronomist team and field staff to achieve operational targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master degree in agriculture or related fields.
- At least 10 years of experience in agronomy with focus on raw material sourcing, farmer contact for Agricultural product or crop management.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communications skills to effectively engage with farmer and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of agronomic principle, practices and commercial aspect specific to potato farming.
- Ability to work independently, remotely and travel to various locations, including Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Phayao, Tak and other assigned areas.
- Good Driving skills with Car Driving licenses.

What you will do
