Responsibilities
Job Description:
The Marketing Director is responsible for defining and executing strategies for marketing to achieve the organization’s business goals. This includes increasing revenue, enhancing brand value, and expanding markets both domestically and internationally. The role also involves leading the sales and marketing teams to ensure efficient execution of plans.
Scope of Work (SOW):
1. Marketing Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies aligned with the organization’s short- and long-term objectives.
- Analyze markets and competitors to create competitive strategies and increase market share.
2. Team Management:
- Supervise and guide sales and marketing teams to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Train and develop team skills to prepare them for business challenges.
3. Budget Management:
- Plan and manage the department’s budget to align with business objectives and maximize resource efficiency.
- Monitor and control expenses related to sales and marketing activities.
4. Brand Building and Promotion:
- Develop and execute brand-building strategies to increase brand awareness and preference in target markets.
- Plan and implement marketing campaigns consistent with the brand's image and goals.
5. Market Expansion and Networking:
- Strategize and execute expansion into new markets, both domestic and international, to grow customer base and revenue.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key customers and business partners to create new business opportunities.
6. Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze sales and marketing data to assess performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
- At least 10 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge and experience in strategic marketing and brand-building.
- Excellent market analysis and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant computer software for sales and marketing.
