Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and manage highway and roadway projects, including new constructions, expansions, and maintenance
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments.
- Perform traffic analysis and road safety audits to improve transportation efficiency.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, models, and specifications using CAD software.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations and codes.
- Collaborate with urban planners, surveyors, contractors, and government agencies.
- Supervise construction activities, monitor progress, and address engineering issues on-site.
- Estimate project costs, prepare budgets, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Implement sustainable and eco-friendly road construction techniques.
- Use GIS and other software tools for route planning and roadway alignment.
Qualifications
- Age preferably 22-30 years old.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or other relevant field.
- At least 0-5 years of experience in construction engineering of highway, roadway and bridge projects.
- Has computer skills, including AutoCAD, MS Offices, and AI
- Possesses skills for statistical data analysis, teamwork, and perform well under pressure.
