Responsibilities
1. Full-Stack Application Development
- Design and develop scalable web applications using Angular.
- Build backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET ecosystem.
- Develop and support mobile applications (hybrid or API-driven architectures).
- Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and security across all layers.
2. Insurance Domain Solutioning
- Translate business requirements from life and/or general insurance into technical solutions.
- Work with core insurance processes such as: Policy administration, Underwriting, Claims processing, Billing and payments
- Integrate with legacy insurance systems and modern platforms.
3. API & Integration Development
- Design and maintain reusable, scalable APIs.
- Integrate internal and external systems using API-first architecture.
- Leverage enterprise data models to enable consistent data access and interoperability.
4. AI-Enabled Development & Automation
- Develop and integrate AI/ML-driven features into applications (e.g., recommendations, automation, decision support).
- Utilize internal data models and APIs to build intelligent workflows.
- Implement automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
- Collaborate with data teams to deploy models into production environments.
5. Architecture & Best Practices
- Apply modern software architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, cloud-native).
- Ensure adherence to DevSecOps, CI/CD, and coding best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in: Angular (frontend development), C# / .NET Core (backend development)
- Experience in RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases - MS SQL Database and PostgreSQL is a must.
- Proven experience in life insurance or general insurance systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating AI/ML models into production systems.
- Knowledge of data engineering concepts and enterprise data models.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to DevOps pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
- Understanding of security and compliance in financial services.
