Responsibilities
• Establish and manage accounting and financial systems under an effective internal control framework.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, cash flow, and profitability, and provide timely reports to the management team.
• Develop, implement, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Being responsible for transaction processing for GL, AP, AR and project management accounting.
• Liaising with Tax and Accounting auditors regarding year end audits.
• Conducting the reconciliation of fixed assets, AP and accruals and other related accounts as assigned.
• Encourage and adopt policies and strategies to finance and accounting work.
• Prepare short-term and long-term budgets and cash flow forecasts and provide financial support to management.
• Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accurate general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and proper documentation.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, inventory, cost accounting, depreciation, and operating expenses.
• Review budget variances, perform cost analysis, forecasts, and financial studies.
• Provide timely consolidated financial and management reports for management review.
• ERP system implementation & process improvement
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of finance and accounting operations
• Coaching and supervised the accounting team
• Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
• Female/male age from 35 years and above.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Account.
• At least 5 years of working experience in management level.
• CPA or Chartered Accountant is a plus (CPD required).
• proficient in EXPRESS accounting software.
• experience with ERP systems and internal control frameworks.
• In-depth knowledge & experience of accounting principles, GAAP, taxation, budgeting, cost accounting, management accounting, financial planning & reporting, cash flow management and relevant regulations.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
• Able to analyze and close balance sheet and financial statements, including coordinating with external auditing units.
• Experience with financial consolidation and reporting process.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with advanced Excel tools is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and good teamwork capabilities.
• A fast learner, logical, proactive, well-organized, and result oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and coordinate across departments.
