Role Overview
The Event and Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue through the proactive solicitation of events, including MICE (Meetings), weddings, social parties, and corporate group events. This role focuses on the local market in Hua Hin, Cha-am, and surrounding provinces while ensuring seamless on-site execution for groups referred by the Bangkok Corporate Office.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Core Responsibilities: Sales & Revenue Generation
• Local Market Penetration: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local territory (Hua Hin, Cha-am, and nearby regions). This includes regular sales calls and sales visits to local corporations, government agencies, and social organizations.
• Revenue Management: Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets for banquet food & beverage, venue rentals, and group room allotments.
• Strategic Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with local wedding planners, event organizers, and the community
• Proposals & Negotiations: Prepare professional, Standard proposals and contracts. Conduct negotiations to maximize hotel yield while maintaining a competitive edge in the local market.
2. Operational Excellence & Group Management
• Site Inspections: Conduct professional site inspections for prospective clients, showcasing the hotel’s facilities and 5-star service standards with a personalized touch.
• BKK Group Liaison: Act as the primary on-site point of contact for event groups secured by the Bangkok Sales Team. Ensure all client requirements are communicated accurately to the operations team.
• On-site Supervision: Oversee the execution of major events to ensure "flawless delivery." Act as the "Host" to ensure client satisfaction and handle any real-time adjustments or issues.
• Inter-departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Banquet, F&B, Front Office, and All HOD teams to ensure the "Event Order" (EO) is executed to perfection.
3. Financial Management & Reporting
• Performance Tracking: Maintain an accurate database of local leads and accounts. Provide weekly and monthly sales forecasts and activity reports to the Head Of Commercial and Revenue
• Market Intelligence: Monitor local competitor activities, pricing, and renovation trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly

Qualifications

Experience Required:

Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in Event Sales or MICE, preferably within a 4 or 5-star luxury hotel environment.

Local Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Hua Hin/Cha-am business landscape and a pre-existing network of local contacts is highly advantageous.

Communication: Excellent communication in English and Thai (both written and spoken).

Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Personality: Highly proactive, result-oriented, and possessing a "can-do" attitude with a refined professional appearance.

Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle for local sales calls.

Qualifications:

·       Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Business, or related field
