As we expand, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operation Manager to lead our integrated warehouse and production operations.
This is a critical leadership role for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled in managing both people and systems (SAP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Direct and oversee all day-to-day operations within the distribution centre, including Inbound, Storage, Inventory Control, Outbound, and all Production/VAS activities (e.g., packing, labelling, assembly).
- Team Management: Lead, coach, and develop the operations team. Set clear performance goals (KPIs) and foster a culture of productivity, quality, and safety.
- Performance & KPI Management: Be fully accountable for operational KPIs, including inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, order fulfillment accuracy, operational cost, and safety standards.
- SAP System Management: Ensure the effective and accurate use of the SAP system. Act as a key user or subject-matter expert to troubleshoot issues and drive system-based process optimization.
- Process Improvement: Continuously analyze operational workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement lean principles or corrective actions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Service, Transportation, and other internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce all company policies, safety standards (SHE), 5S principles, and quality management procedures.
- Flexibility: Demonstrate a high level of flexibility to manage shifting priorities, urgent requests and adapt to the dynamic demands of the logistics business.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or manufacturing operations in a Supervisory role.
- Crucial Requirement: Proven experience managing both Warehouse and Production/VAS operations concurrently.
- Must-Have Skill: Strong, hands-on experience with SAP systems is mandatory.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a large team.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Results-oriented, resilient, and able to work effectively under pressure.
- High degree of flexibility in working hours, with Monday - Saturday as the standard work schedule, and ability to adapt to operational needs.
- Basic to Fair communication skills in English (for reading emails, reports, and basic communication).
