Chemist (Petroleum Testing) Rayong Lab - Intertek Testing Services (Thailand) Ltd.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Chemist specializing in petroleum testing to join our laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting chemical and physical analyses of petroleum products to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role is critical in maintaining product quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

• Perform routine and advanced testing of crude oil, refined petroleum products, and related samples.
• Conduct analyses such as distillation, viscosity, sulfur content, flash point, density, and other standardized tests.
• Interpret test results and prepare accurate, timely reports.
• Ensure all testing procedures comply with ASTM, ISO, and other relevant standards.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Maintain proper documentation and laboratory records.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support quality control and process improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in petroleum or petrochemical laboratory testing.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM and other relevant testing standards.
• Experience with laboratory equipment such as GC, HPLC, spectrometers, and etc.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience working in an accredited laboratory (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025).
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in the oil and gas industry.
