Responsibilities

Job Purpose

Manage and execute operational purchasing tasks as delegated by the Purchasing Manager in line with Group Purchasing (GP) policies, principles, guidelines and procedures for Raw Materials (RM), Purchased Finished Goods (PFG) and Indirect Materials (IM) in close cooperation with local stakeholders and GP, enabling the company to achieve the desired delivery service to the customers.


This position is based in Chonburi and reported to Purchasing Manager.


Job Description

  • Responsibilities:
  • Execute sourcing, supplier pre-assessment and manage all administrative works with for designated IM categories by close cooperation with relevant user department to ensure business and requirements are met effectively and on time.
  • Identify, lead and collaborate with relevant user department to establish and implement the purchasing objectives by following the Tactical Purchasing Activities Process and Utilizing relevant contact formats (including frame agreement etc.) to ensure best possible terms and conditions.
  • Manage, monitor all administrative works related on IM designed categories by place and follow up order in Matrix based on agreements/contacts including supplier invoices are paid within due date.
  • Implement the Category Management Concept for selected IM categories by follow up and align to global or regional guidelines.
  • Monitor, measure and provide periodic reports and progress updates to Purchasing Manager on agreed KPIs and tasks assigned.
  • Act as backup to other IM Purchaser in purchasing related tasks.
  • Follow the HSEQ requirements and reporting a near-miss unsafe where necessary; and support relevant HSEQ Elements related to IM handling.

Qualifications

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or category management.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing processes, supplier management, INCOTERMS 2010, Import/Export requirements related to Thai regulations; and supply chain lead and processes , and contract negotiation.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proficient in Thai and English communication and capable of handling supplier and commercial documentation.
