Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities of a Mechanical Engineer:

• Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting research projects and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.

• Verify system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods and properties.

• Verify system and product quality by designing test methods, testing capabilities of finished products and systems, and verifying manufacturing, assembly, and installation processes.

• Prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

• Provide engineering information by answering questions and requests.

• Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.

• Keep equipment in working order by coordinating maintenance and repair, following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures, and requesting special services.

• Perform projects by training and mentoring technicians.

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and building personal networks. And participate in professional associations

• Participate in teamwork to achieve relevant results as required

Mechanical Engineering Education, Experience and License Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's Degree will be given special consideration)

• Licensed as a Professional Engineer

• Experience in Mechanical Engineering

• Advanced Computer Skills with solid experience in CAD, CAM and Matlab/LabView programs

• LD is a plus
