Responsibilities

1. In charge for daily operation
2. Recruiting, training, and supervising restaurant staff
3. Review the pastry and coffee order quantity on a daily basis to ensure the right balance between wastage and stock availability
4. To build and maintain an efficient team of employees, driving the team towards the objectives of the business
5. To closely monitor the daily pastries and coffee’ to minimize the human error or possible pitfall for cheating
6. To ensure wastage is recorded and accounted on a daily basis
7. To train and develop employees ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties
8. To manage employees ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained 
9. To respond to any changes in the restaurant (new products, new pastries…) as dictated by the needs of the operations and company
10. To produce roster for baristas and service staff to ensure employee levels match the needs of the business
11. To ensure the standards and controls for health & safety, hygiene, risk assessments, manual handling and produce are maintained as prescribed by legislation, the company and independent auditors
12. To ensure the efficient flow of service and standards are constantly met on a daily basics
13. Responsible for PR and marketing activities related to retail operation or as assigned
14. Resolving customer complaints regarding food, beverage quality and customer service
15. Recording all income and expenses and ensuring that cash registers are balanced
16. Any other tasks as assigned by Manager-Area
