Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all import-related activities for overseas purchases.
- Monitor and track inbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Review and verify import-related invoices, shipping documents, and associated costs.
- Coordinate and manage import cargo insurance matters.
- Handle import permits and licenses, particularly for chemical products and regulated materials.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal departments to facilitate import operations.
- Coordinate with government authorities, including Customs Department, Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT), Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Commerce, and other relevant agencies.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain import records, reports, and documentation.
- Resolve shipment issues, customs clearance problems, and import-related discrepancies.
- Support continuous improvement of import and logistics processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in import operations, shipping, logistics, customs clearance, or international trade is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with a strong interest in import, logistics, and international trade are welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of import procedures, customs regulations, shipping documentation, and international logistics is an advantage.
- Experience handling import permits, customs documentation, and coordination with government authorities will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of chemical import regulations and licensing processes is a plus.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Having experience in using SAP programs will be an advantage.
- Ability to work 2 Saturday per month.
