Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Sales Oversight: Oversee the commercial proposals and strategic sales planning for the assigned product portfolio within the designated territory. You will manage all integrated activities pertaining to the promotion of products and services to ensure optimal market penetration.
2. Business Development & Relationship Management: Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities while cultivating enduring, sustainable relationships with the existing client base. This role holds full accountability for the tendering process, contractual negotiations, and the formulation of robust sales frameworks.
3. Knowledge Leadership: Lead the enhancement of product expertise across internal teams, fostering an environment of continuous learning to bolster sales efficacy and professional consultancy standards.
4. Technical Advocacy & Documentation: Assume responsibility for product demonstrations and the creation of rigorous technical specifications. This includes the development and maintenance of comprehensive user manuals and instructional documentation.
5.Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise effectively with internal departments—or execute independently where required—to ensure the seamless delivery, installation, and integration of solutions, maintaining a superlative customer experience.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Academic Credentials: Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Genetics, Immunology, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline.
2. Professional Experience: Demonstrate 1–5 years of experience in Sales or as a Product Specialist within the Life Sciences or Medical Instrumentation sectors.
3. Priority consideration will be given to candidates with a proven track record in managing public sector accounts and a profound understanding of government procurement systems, including E-Bidding, E-Auctions, and the formulation of Terms of Reference (TOR).
4. Linguistic Proficiency: Exceptional command of the English language, with particular emphasis on high-level verbal and written communication.
5. Attributes & Competencies: Highly resilient with the ability to thrive under pressure. Candidates must demonstrate a service-oriented mindset, proactive enthusiasm, a positive professional attitude, and a strong sense of accountability.
6. Mobility: Must possess a valid driving licence and have access to a personal vehicle for business-related operations.
