Responsibilities
- Supervise workplace safety to ensure compliance with legal and industrial standards (e.g., ISO 45001, TIS 18001, ISO 14001)
- Conduct safety training for employees and contractors
- Perform risk assessments and safety inspections (e.g., JSA, HIRA)
- Investigate accidents and implement preventive measures
- Plan and conduct emergency drills such as fire evacuation or chemical spill response
- Monitor and control the use of PPE and safety equipment
- Oversee contractor safety and permit-to-work systems
- Support safety activities such as Safety Week and Safety Committee meetings
- Prepare and report safety performance to management and government authorities
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Occupational Health and Safety or related fields,
• Have the ability to communicate in English (Listening, speaking, reading and writing)
• At least 5 years experience of working Safety. Occupational health in manufacturing plants.
• Knowledge of OHSAS/ TIS18001 & ISO14001 & strong leadership.
