Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all logistics operations including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and transportation.
• Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Manage and lead warehouse and transportation teams to maintain smooth workflows and high performance.
• Monitor and control inventory levels with accuracy, coordinating closely with procurement and sales teams to meet demand.
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations, including safety, transportation, and environmental standards.
• Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to secure cost-effective and reliable services.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing reports on logistics performance, cost management, and service quality.
• Utilize logistics software and systems such as WMS, TMS, and ERP to manage and optimize supply chain operations.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate logistics staff while providing training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
• Identify and resolve operational issues including transportation delays, damaged goods, and inventory discrepancies to minimize disruptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, production, and customer service to align logistics activities with overall business goals.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management, including supervisory or managerial roles.
• Proficiency in English and Thai is required. Chinese language skills will be considered an advantage.
• Proficient in logistics software such as WMS, TMS, ERP, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize logistics operations and interpret KPIs.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills for vendor and stakeholder management.
• In-depth knowledge of transportation laws, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CLM) are a plus.
