Responsibilities
1.Develop, optimize, and maintain assembly processes for washing machine production lines.
2.Drive Process Improvement initiatives for Encapsulation (Encap) and Inspection processes to enhance productivity, process capability, and operational efficiency.
3.Lead new project setup activities, including process design, line balancing, equipment qualification, process validation, and production ramp-up.
4.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of new products and manufacturing processes.
5.Initiate and lead Quality Improvement projects to reduce defects, improve first-pass yield, and enhance customer satisfaction.
6.Conduct root cause analysis using problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and FMEA.
7.Drive Cost Reduction Programs (CRP) and Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives to optimize manufacturing costs without compromising product quality and reliability.
8.Monitor and analyze production KPIs, including cycle time, yield, productivity, scrap rate, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
9.Establish and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
10.Support continuous improvement activities through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies.
11.Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, and R&D teams to achieve operational and business objectives.
12.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Qualifications
1.Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
2.3–5 years of experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Assembly Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
3.Experience in home appliance, consumer electronics, or automotive manufacturing is an advantage.
4.Strong knowledge of assembly processes, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
5.Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and FMEA.
6.Good analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
7.Proficient in Microsoft Office and manufacturing-related systems.
8.Good command of English, both written and spoken.
9.Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment.
