Responsibilities
Job Purpose
Responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing raw materials for cosmetic and related businesses, ensuring cost efficiency, quality compliance, and alignment with market trends and consumer needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor trends in raw material technology and innovation to support product development.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis for raw material sourcing decisions.
• Understand consumer behavior and customer requirements to align raw material selection with new product development.
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency and favorable terms.
• Perform risk assessment and change control for raw material quality and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate suppliers and third-party vendors for reliability and compliance.
• Manage raw material cost reduction initiatives and sourcing strategies for cosmetics and related industries.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on raw materials to related department.
• Maintain accurate raw material database using appropriate software tools.
• Communicate effectively in English for global supplier interactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree of Science - Cosmetics science, Chemistry.
- At least 0-2 years working experience in raw material sourcing or cosmetics ingredients sourcing.
- Decision making skills.
- Strong in negotiation skill.
- Good command of English and Computer skills (MSOffice applications).
