Responsibilities
- Assess risks and develop the Annual Audit Plan and Audit Program in accordance with company policies and internal audit requirements.
- Plan and conduct Internal Audit and SOX Audit activities to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Review and evaluate internal control processes to identify control weaknesses, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare audit working papers, audit findings, and audit reports, including analysis of root causes and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Coordinate with relevant departments throughout the audit process, including audit preparation, fieldwork, clarification of findings, and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Summarize and present audit results, key findings, risks, and recommendations to supervisors and management.
- Support and coordinate audit activities with Honda Group companies, including providing required information and following up on audit-related actions.
- Monitor and follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure that agreed improvements are implemented within the specified timeframe.
- Continuously improve internal audit processes and control practices to strengthen risk management and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Internal Audit, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in Internal Audit, External Audit, SOX, Internal Control, or a related field.
- Experience in SOX Audit, Internal Control, Risk Assessment, or Audit Planning is an advantage.
- Good understanding of internal audit principles, internal controls, risk management, and audit procedures.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Good command of English, especially for communication and coordination with Honda Group companies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Good planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- CIA, CPA, or other relevant professional certifications will be an advantage.
