Maintenance Engineer - Thai Honda Co., Ltd.

Preventive Maintenance

• Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities for assembly line equipment, conveyors, automation systems, robots, and production machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and improve maintenance standards, check sheets, and maintenance schedules.

Corrective Maintenance

• Analyze and troubleshoot machine breakdowns and equipment abnormalities in assembly production lines.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system failures and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and restore equipment operation efficiently.

Equipment Improvement & Automation

• Improve machine performance, productivity, and equipment reliability through Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
• Support machine modification, automation projects, and production line improvement initiatives.
• Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, and production line expansion projects.

Spare Parts & Maintenance Cost Management

• Manage critical spare parts inventory to ensure availability and minimize production interruptions.
• Monitor maintenance costs and propose cost reduction initiatives while maintaining equipment reliability.

Documentation & Reporting

• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including the date of service, parts replaced, and any issues encountered.
• Prepare maintenance reports and improvement proposals for management review

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields
• Able to work in shifts and support production operations as required
• Knowledge of assembly line equipment, conveyor systems, automation equipment, and industrial machinery.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance (reactive repairs when issues arise).
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems
• Experience with PLC Ladder Logic programming and robot teaching is a plus.
• Good command of English (TOEIC score 500 up) if have skill in Japanese is an advantage
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Knowledge of PLC systems, Servo Motors, Inverters, Sensors, and Industrial Robots is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
