Responsibilities
Role Overview
As a Part Delivery Control, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless flow of Motorcycle/Power Product components from our supplier base to our manufacturing facility. Your primary mission is to maintain zero production downtime by proactively managing supplier delivery schedules, auditing supplier production capabilities, and synchronizing deliveries with our internal production plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery Management: Monitor and track daily part deliveries to ensure 100% On-Time Delivery (OTD). Take immediate action if a shortage is detected.
- Supplier Risk Mitigation: Visit supplier sites to audit production processes when delivery delays occur. Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with suppliers to implement recovery plans.
- Production Planning Alignment: Analyze and synchronize supplier delivery capabilities with internal production plans. Adjust schedules dynamically with supplier and internal production
- Problem Solving & Support: Provide technical and logistical guidance to suppliers to improve their manufacturing stability and delivery performance.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Act as the central hub between the Production, Purchasing, and Logistics departments. Handle multiple priorities in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate delivery KPIs and prepare "Early Warning" reports for management regarding potential supply chain disruptions.
Qualifications
Key Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistic engineer or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Material Control, or Production Control (preferably in the Automotive industry).
- Technical Savvy: Strong understanding of Production Planning and MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
- On-site Auditing: Experience in visiting suppliers to evaluate production lines and verify "Capacity vs. Demand" is significant
- Multitasking & Prioritization: Proven ability to handle multiple urgent tasks simultaneously without compromising accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills; able to "push" suppliers while maintaining a professional partnership.
- Analytical Thinking: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) for data analysis
- Proactive Problem Solver: Always come with a solution and an action plan
