Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and control end‑to‑end waste logistics to ensure continuous and sufficient waste supply for uninterrupted power plant operations
- Coordinate waste collection, transportation, delivery schedules, and unloading activities in line with plant capacity and operating plans
- Ensure waste quantity, quality, and delivery timing meet operational and contractual requirements
- Manage relationships with waste suppliers, municipalities, transport contractors, and third‑party logistics providers
- Develop logistics plans, routing, and contingency measures to mitigate supply disruption and operational risks
- Monitor waste stock levels, delivery performance, and logistics KPIs to support stable plant operations
- Ensure compliance with environmental laws, waste management regulations, transportation rules, permits, and HSE standards
- Oversee documentation related to waste transportation, licenses, manifests, and regulatory reporting
- Control logistics and transportation budgets; optimize costs while maintaining service reliability
- Lead contract negotiations, SLAs, and performance evaluations of logistics and transport vendors
- Work closely with plant operations, commercial, HSE, and external stakeholders to align supply plans
- Lead, coach, and manage logistics and waste supply teams; set KPIs and drive performance improvement
- Prepare operational reports, risk assessments, and management updates for senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in logistics, waste management, supply chain, or industrial operations
- Proven experience managing waste logistics for power plant, WtE, utilities, or heavy industry
- Strong knowledge of waste regulations, logistics operations, contractor management, and safety compliance
- Solid leadership, problem‑solving, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel and work on-site in upcountry and international locations.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
