Responsibilities
1. Accounting Operations
- Record general ledger (GL) transactions accurately and timely
- Verify supporting documents before posting transactions
- Prepare journal entries including accruals, prepayments, adjustments, AP, and payments
2. Closing Process Support
- Assist in monthly and yearly closing processes
- Prepare and review adjusting entries
- Perform account reconciliations (GL and accounts reconciliation)
3. Financial Reporting
- Prepare supporting schedules for financial reports
- Conduct basic analysis of account movements
4. Tax & Compliance
- Support tax filings such as VAT and Withholding Tax (WHT)
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
5. Other Duties
- Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 0–1 year of accounting experience (Fresh graduates are welcome)
- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical thinking skills
- Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
