Field Service Engineer - Bangkok Cable Co., Ltd.

• Plan and supervise the installation of cable joints, terminations, and accessories for Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (HV) power cables in accordance with manufacturer standards and manuals.
• Inspect the readiness of equipment, materials, tools, and site conditions before starting the work.
• Inspect the quality of installation work performed by Jointers and prepare installation documents and Installation Records.
• Prepare and perform post-installation testing in accordance with the required standards.
• Prepare Test Reports and provide technical advice to customers.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues encountered during installation or testing.
• Strictly comply with safety measures.
• Be able to work on-site, travel to upcountry locations, and work outside normal working hours.

• Male.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Engineering).
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Experience in the installation of cable joints and terminations, as well as post-installation testing of Medium Voltage (MV) and High Voltage (HV) power cable systems, including AC Voltage Withstand Test, Sheath Test, and Insulation Resistance Test, will be an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies

• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, cable routing layouts, jointing instructions, and test circuit diagrams.
• Understanding of high-voltage testing principles, grounding systems, and electrical safety practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and on-site decision-making skills.
• Good coordination and communication skills with customers, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Good command of English for technical communication and report writing.
• Knowledge of and strong commitment to electrical safety.
• Ability to prepare Test Reports in accordance with applicable standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
