Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance activities for Seamer machines and related equipment to ensure maximum machine availability and minimize downtime.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair Seamer machines, including mechanical, pneumatic, and related control systems, to support continuous production operations.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company standards, safety standards, national regulations, and proper engineering practices.
- Prepare and implement Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance plans effectively.
- Analyze machine breakdowns using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and establish preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
- Monitor and control maintenance work quality, including Seamer setting adjustments, to ensure compliance with product quality standards.
- Prepare daily maintenance reports, machine breakdown reports, and follow up on maintenance performance.
- Plan and control spare parts usage, including comparing specifications, pricing, and suitability of spare parts before purchasing.
- Supervise, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and subordinate staff.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, and related departments to support production targets and product quality requirements.
- Support company activities related to safety, occupational health, energy conservation, and management systems such as GMP, HACCP, ISO, SMETA, or other related standards.
- Continuously improve machine efficiency and maintenance processes through Continuous Improvement and Kaizen activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.
Experience in Seamer machine maintenance or maintenance work in food/beverage manufacturing industries is preferred. - Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic PLC systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for machine breakdowns.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance reporting.
- Able to work in shifts and overtime when required.
