Environmental Engineer - UACJ (Thailand) Co., Ltd

Position Description:

1. Support Sustainability and ESG Initiatives:

 Assist in developing and implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives in compliance with international standards.

 Analyze and prepare reports on Carbon Footprint of Products (CFP)

 Support the management of Recycled Content (RC) for products in compliance with relevant standards.

 Collaborate with internal teams to support the execution of sustainability projects and ensure positive environmental impact.

2. Compliance with International Standards:

 Collect and analyze data related to GHG emissions from production processes.

 Support sustainability compliance with Aluminum Stewardship Initiative (ASI) and other relevant standards.

 Prepare reports and documentation as per customer requests.

 Coordinate with external organizations and stakeholders.

 Work with cross-functional teams to continuously improve sustainability strategies and initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, or related fields.

• Basic knowledge of climate change topics such as GHG, Carbon Footprint, Circular Economy (CE), ESG, and ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or data analysis tools.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in teams.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with a strong willingness to learn and develop in the field of sustainability.

• Familiarity with tools or software used for environmental impact assessment.

• Strong coordination and teamwork skills for working with external organizations and cross-functional teams.

• Ability to manage and analyze sustainability-related data effectively.

UACJ (Thailand) Co., Ltd. launched the first stage of its operations in January, 2014 as the Southeast Asian production base of the UACJ Group.
Following the completion of the second construction term in summer 2015, the company began full-scale production as the largest aluminum sheet and plate rolling mill in Southeast Asia. It conducts integrated production all the way through from the casting process to the manufacture of aluminum alloy coils.
