Responsibilities
- Analyze wastewater quality and propose improvements for treatment systems
- Plan and manage environmental improvement projects
- Coordinate and execute Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) activities
- Oversee the handling and disposal of industrial waste in compliance with regulations
- Inspect and maintain utility systems such as water, air, and electrical systems
- Prepare reports and maintain records of environmental and utility operations
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance efficiency
- Ensure environmental operations adhere to ISO 14001 management system standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in utility or environmental engineering
- Understanding of wastewater treatment processes and water quality analysis
- Experience in preparing or coordinating EIA reports
- Knowledge of ISO 14001 environmental management systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and external parties
- Ability to analyze and resolve immediate operational issues
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license is a plus.
