Account Specialist (GL) - Major Cineplex Group Public Co., Ltd.

Job Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for General Ledger (GL) accounting and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage and control monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes under listed company timelines.
• Review trial balances, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustment entries.
• Review financial records and financial statements of group businesses to ensure consistency with group accounting policies.
• Control and reconcile intercompany transactions, including intercompany AR/AP, revenue, costs, and balances.
• Prepare and review intercompany reconciliation schedules and resolve differences.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including elimination entries.
• Review unrealized intercompany profit, fixed asset-related adjustments, goodwill, and non-controlling interest (NCI), where applicable.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment for high-volume transactions, deferred revenue, promotions, and vouchers.
• Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors, including handling audit queries and adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with TFRS and regulatory requirements for listed companies.
• Review work of accounting staff and support improvements in accounting processes and internal controls.
