Supplier Development Engineer - Ohlins Asia Co., Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve suppliers to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, capacity, and delivery performance.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Engineering, and global teams to qualify new components and new materials.
• Assess new and existing supplier capabilities to meet product, quality, cost, capacity, and customer requirements.
• Support supplier production during the initial delivery phase to ensure stable quality control.
• Drive supplier improvement activities to reduce defects, reduce cost, and increase capacity.
• Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with company standards, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other requirements.
• Prepare PPAP documents, test reports, and other required reports.
• Support other projects or assignments as required.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business Management, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Quality, or Supplier Development.
• Knowledge of supplier development, cost control, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, or PPAP will be an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
• Good command of Thai and English, both written and spoken.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office; experience with IFS or ERP system is preferred.
