Responsibilities
- Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimation for various construction projects
- Review and analyze construction drawings and material specifications for accurate estimates
- Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to gather necessary data for estimation
- Prepare detailed estimation reports and present findings to project managers
- Review and update estimation data and methodologies regularly
- Maintain organized records of all estimation data and related documentation
Qualifications
- Vocational Diploma in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in quantity take-off and cost estimation
- In-depth understanding of various construction materials and methods
- Ability to accurately read and interpret construction drawings
- Proficiency in relevant computer software, such as Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in building construction projects is a plus.
