Data Analyst - K Stone Corporation Co., Ltd.

• Understand requirements and business use cases from internal and external customers in order to design a data product or analytics solution that meet business objectives.
• From there, select appropriate statistics tools, measures, and methodology. This could also include identifying new or secondary data source that could enhance the analysis.
• Transform business requirements and designs into technical specification and other required documentation (such as BRS) for BI Engineer, Data Scientist, and other technical teams in order to develop and implement a solution. This task involves performing Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), list required data sources, identifying transformation logic, applying appropriate data cleansing and data standardization rules according to the project architecture or data model design.
• Process data with standard tools such as SQL and Python and manipulate data with analysis and visualize tools such as Power BI to explore data, find trends, make inferences or prediction, or find any insights.
• Assist other developers to validate correctness of transformed data to ensure output data is of high quality.
• Assist quality assurance (QA) team with UAT testing (if required)
• Create or update metadata (Business, Technical, Dataset) in accordance with standard specified by Data Governance and project team. This includes writing attribute business name and business definition.
• Identify Critical Data Element (CDE) for data quality monitoring purposes. Create and review data quality rules with Data Quality team.
• Derive business implication and/or actionable recommendations from the findings.
• Communicate ideas and proposal, findings, and recommendations with appropriate visualization such as charts and diagrams on standard presentation and documentation tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Words.
• Take ownership of one’s project, including planning and managing scopes and timelines.

Required:

• 4+ years of experience in data analysis, BI development, or reporting roles, ideally with exposure to cross-functional business domains and proficiency in Power BI, DAX, and SQL.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Data Services, Databricks, or  equivalent environments.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, visualization best practices, and business logic or metric validation.
• Ability to communicate insights and data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of data governance fundamentals, including data classification, access control, consent-aware reporting, and responsible data usage.
• Proficient in Thai and English at intermediate level or above, sufficient for technical discussions, meetings, and written documentation

Preferred

• Experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Exposure to metadata and governance tools such as Unity Catalog, Azure Purview, or Power BI service administration.
• Understanding of privacy-by-design principles and regulatory expectations in analytics and reporting.
• Skills in Python or R for exploratory analysis or data validation (beneficial but not mandatory).
• Strong interest in enabling data-driven decision-making through scalable, well-governed analytics and high-quality reporting assets.
