Responsibilities
1. Engagement Management:
- Lead and oversee multiple audit engagements across diverse industries, ensuring quality, compliance, and adherence to deadlines.
- Develop and maintain audit strategies tailored to clients’ needs while aligning with professional standards and firm policies.
- Review financial statements, audit reports, and other deliverables for accuracy and compliance with relevant standards (e.g., TFRS, IFRS).
2. Business Development:
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market insights.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to support their financial and operational goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to cross-sell firm services and drive overall growth.
3. Team Leadership:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 50 staff members, including senior auditors and managers.
- Foster a high-performance culture through training, performance reviews, and career development plans.
- Ensure efficient resource allocation and workload distribution across the team.
4. Strategic Contribution:
- Contribute to the firm’s strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to maintain the firm’s competitive edge.
- Lead internal initiatives to improve audit methodologies and operational efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Minimum of 10 years, progressive experience in audit and assurance, including leadership roles within an international audit firm.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large audit engagements for listed and multinational clients.
- Exceptional business development skills with the ability to generate new clients and expand existing relationships.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities with experience overseeing a team of at least 60 staff.
- Advanced knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
